  • INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT

Vitamin A (Retinyl Acetate 1%): An ester form of retinol that is more stable and well-tolerated while offering the same benefits of improving tone and texture, reducing fine lines, and improving elasticity with less irritation

Glucose Oxidase: An enzyme that helps to preserve and stabilise other ingredients (Vitamin A) from oxidation

Vitamin E (Glucose Oxidase): Potent fat-soluble antioxidant that defends the skin from free radicals and repairs oxidative damage to maintain healthy cells

  • HOW TO USE

If you are new to using vitamin A products, you may start with the Nighttime Repair Retinol Cream first to train your skin and build up its tolerance before fully transiting to Vitamin A Boosting Cream.

It is especially recommended in the evening to repair the skin overnight. Dispense a pea-sized amount of cream and massage into the face and neck while avoiding contact with eyes. The Vitamin A Boosting Cream works best when applied strategically on targeted areas rather than all-over. To prevent flakiness, use only 3 nights a week as a start and gradually build up to nightly use.

Avoid using alongside AHAs, BHAs, or Vitamin C in the single routine and always remember to apply sunscreen the next morning.

  • FAQS

What is the difference between Nighttime Repair Retinol Cream and Vitamin A Boosting Cream?

The Vitamin A Boosting Cream is suitable for someone whose skin has been seasoned to Vitamin A and is ready to take it to the next level. It has a higher concentration in comparison to the Nighttime Repair Retinol Cream, therefore it is typically recommended to use after the skin has built some tolerance.

How do I know if my skin is ready for the Vitamin A Boosting Cream?

The formula is meant for someone who has been accustomed to using Vitamin A products, if you are still in the acclimation phase with dryness, flaking and peeling, you should not add the Vitamin A Boosting Cream until your skin has fully adjusted to it.

How often can I use the Vitamin A Booster Cream?

It is recommended to start with 2 to 3 times per week, as your skin builds tolerance, you may begin to slowly increase the frequency. This should only happen gradually when your skin is tolerating the current routine without signs of irritations like excessive dryness, flaking or peeling.

Can it be used with other active ingredients?

It should not be used on the same night with AHAs, BHAs, or Vitamin C. Layering multiple active ingredients may increase the risk of irritation, barrier disruption and sensitivity.

Is it recommended in the morning or evening?

Using it in the day may be ineffective as sunlight may deactivate the active ingredient. When used at night, it aligns with the body’s natural circadian rhythm, maximising cellular repair, collagen production and cell turnover while avoiding photosensitivity from sun exposure.

Can I use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Vitamin A products are generally not recommended during pregnancy. It is however safe for breastfeeding, or you may consult your OBGYN to confirm the safety.
